Antonian Prep 56, Bandera 7

Antonian Prep unleashed its offense on Friday night in a 56-7 victory over Bandera. QB Nathan Braulick completed 11 of 15 passes for 218 yards and four TDs to lead the Apaches, who move to 3-3 on the season coming into a bye week before facing El Paso Cathedral on Oct. 20. Braulick also added 101 rushing yards and a TD. Corlon Holmes rushed for two TDs, Devin Grant rushed for 96 yards on six carries and a TD, and Kyle McDonald caught two TD passes on the evening. Locke Lind and Isaiah Maldonad also were on the receiving end of a pair of Braulick TD passes.

Austin St. Stephen’s 23, San Antonio TMI 18

Cody Trevino rushed for two TDs in a losing effort as San Antonio TMI dropped a hard-fought decision to Austin St. Stephen’s, 23-18. Abraham Juan Marcos would boot a 37-yard field goal in the fourth quarter to close the gap to five, but TMI could not get closer. With the loss, TMI fell to 2-4.

Holy Cross 17, Cornerstone 0

Holy Cross moved to 5-1 on the season with an impressive defensive performance in a 17-0 victory over Cornerstone. Holy Cross held Cornerstone to 59 total yards in the victory and were able to control the tempo as the Knights rushed for over 300 yards. Ethan Lara rushed for 159 yards to lead Holy Cross, but was unable to get into the end zone. Jaime Ramirez added 86 yards and a TD to pace the Knights. Cornerstone could only manage seven yards rushing on 20 carries as the Warriors fell to 3-2 on the campaign.

San Antonio Christian 24, Austin St. Michael’s 14

Zach Zinsmeyer scored two first half TDs to set the pace for San Antonio Christian in a 24-14 victory over Austin St. Michael’s. Zinsmeyer rushed for a game-high 131 yards for San Antonio Christian, who moved to 3-1 on the season. Zinsmeyer hooked up with QB Holden Phillippus on a 35-yard TD pass with 11:10 of the second quarter remaining to give the Lions a 14-0 lead. Caleb Durham checked in with 72 rushing yards and a TD with 11:20 remaining in the game to seal the victory for the Lions.
